Night of the Evil Dead - Help This Horror Film Raise Some Hell

Synopsis:

1986. Halloween night approaches. Eight friends set pace for a deadly righteous time. A desolate rage in the pines. Regan, our ace leader, rallies the charge, promising a night to die for. The atmosphere's eclectic and the vibes are right. But, little do they know, the real party starts when the sun dies.


The indie horror film "Night of the Evil Dead," (working title) needs your help. They have an indiegogo campaign with a goal of $3000. With your help, that goal can be reached. You can also help by sharing this story on social media like Twitter and Facebook using the buttons below this post. 

Here's some information regarding their campaign.

Our campaign ends on October 2nd and Principle photography begins on September 2nd. This gives us a months worth of special effects work. Due to day jobs, we will shoot for approximately 2 months. Our tentative release date is January 2016.


PERKS TO DIE FOR

We are starting off our perks with a thank you note included in the credits and a digital copy of the film. From there, we would like the experience to feel as personal as possible.

Most of the props from the film will be given away to our contributors. These props include:

Melany Rose - Help Support This Indie Horror Film

Horror movie Melany Rose seeks to raise funds through crowdfunding.

Synopsis:

A dark psychological thriller following Dr. Sullivan as she attempts to expose a government conspiracy surrounding Dr. Freeman and his test subjects made up of former death row inmates.

Pensacola Florida based Zero House Productions has been working to bring the full-length Melany Rose film into reality. “We found a great cast and crew,” shares director/writer Javan Garza, “but as we headed into production we knew we would need additional financial support to make the movie we want to make.”

Melany Rose is a take on Project MKUltra, a government funded mind control program operated covertly through the CIA. “I wanted to take those concepts about human experimentation and twist them into a present-day atmospheric horror movie,” says Garza.

“We landed on a great location in southern Alabama, have a cast I have the up most confidence in, and have a growing crew of dedicated professionals – but it gets expensive fast to make a full-length movie. From costumes, special effects, and dressing out the location space – everything that is shown on screen has a price tag,” states Garza of the filmmaking process. “Then logistic issues like generators, additional production gear, even down to having food and water on set – so many pieces come together behind the scenes too.”

With that, an Indiegogo campaign has been launched to support Melany Rose. Perks range from a $1 contribution which gets an official ‘thank you’ in the film’s credits to posters, scripts, t-shirts, and even an opportunity for an official producer credit.

“I am grateful to be surrounded by amazingly creative people. We want every of angle of Melany Rose, from the music to the lighting to be our best foot forward. I’d like to encourage everyone to take a moment and follow us across social media, invite your friends to do the same, and help us get the word of mouth moving.”

Garza remarks about how the film and entertainment community is continuously growing – and how supporting current genre geared projects can make all the difference in supporting indie filmmakers. “Most indie movies are true labors of love – we do this because we want to make a story that we believe is worth telling.
