Clive Barker's Early Works From The 70's

Clive Barker's Origins: Salome and The Forbidden - DVD Review - MVD Entertainment Group

Production Year: Salome (1973) / The Forbidden (1978)
Region Code: 0 NTSC
Running Time: Salome (17:35) / The Forbidden (35:41)
Audio: Dolby Digital 5.1

Subtitles: None

THE FILMS:

In 1970s Liverpool, Clive Barker and a small group of friends from college made two short films. "Salome" (1973) and "The Forbidden" (1978) feature early footage of Barker, who also did most of the special effects, and Doug Bradley, who went on to fame as Pinhead in the "Hellraiser" films.

"Salome" has an eerie feeling to it, with its dimly lit surroundings. Unfortunately, to me, the best part was the first few minutes. The film is a bit overloaded with close ups. Toward the end I found myself saying, I have no idea what is going on. It has surreal moments and flashes of artistic flare but overall, it seemed to need a way to better communicate with the viewer. Run time: 17 min 35 sec

The look of "The Forbidden" would have to be described as viewing a film via its negative. Look at screenshot number two below and you get the idea. The film features a few segments including Clive Barker himself dancing in the nude as well a man being flayed. I found this film to be the more interesting of the two. Not quite as creepy in tone but more entertaining. Run time: 35 min 41 sec

Both films are dialogue free, but do feature music and some sound effects.

AUDIO:

Both films feature a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track. The sound quality for both films was fine. The tracks did not have to work too hard since the films are mostly silent. I did not have any problems with the audio for either film.

VIDEO:

"Clive Barker's Origins: Salome and The Forbidden" arrive on DVD thanks to the MVD Entertainment Group. Both films are presented in 480i with a 1.33:1 Aspect Ratio. The films look rough. But they were shot a long time ago on 8mm and 16mm film from what I have read. It is clear the elements were not well preserved with the abundance of scratches and blemishes on the film. The films have a home movie quality in their appearance.

Clive Barker's Origins: Salome and The Forbidden - DVD Review - MVD Entertainment Group Doug Bradley

SPECIAL FEATURES:

Interviews (16:13) - Interviews with Clive Barker, Doug Bradley and others. It was really fun to see Doug Bradley sans "Pinhead" make up and so much younger in the vintage piece. Fans should enjoy these interviews.

IN CONCLUSION:

Two early directorial efforts from Clive Barker. If you're a big fan of his, then this is something you would probably like to have in your collection since it might be his only films you do not own already.

+ Added bonus. Previous distributor said in their blog....
When doing the new transfer and seeing the FULL aperture in the telecine, there were a lot of microphones, wires, light reflections and, even at the end, the legs of the killer flying up from a dirt pile, that were never meant to be seen and were printed on the film, but meant to be masked out in theatres. During one bedroom scene, the microphone was practically all the way up to the top of the bed with the actors! LOL! It would be silly to release it full frame and have microphones hanging in scenes, especially when they weren't supposed to be there.

The older master was probably slightly zoomed in to remove these mics, wires, etc. all those years ago when it was first created. And, if that's the case, perhaps ours will have a lot more side L/R info, since we didn't zoom in. I'll dig out the limited DVD and take a look as soon as I get a VHS check tape of our transfer to compare, but ours will definitely look far superior quality wise... and be framed properly.

Children of the Corn Trilogy coming to Blu-ray from 88 Films

The Classic Adult Nightmare Returns in HD!

88 FILMS PRESENTS THE CHILDREN OF THE CORN TRILOGY BOX SET!

THE ORIGINAL THREE THEATRICAL CLASSICS OBTAIN A STUNNING NEW LEASE OF LIFE

Children of the Corn Trilogy coming to Blu-ray from 88 Films

Having experienced a superb first eight months in 2015, including with their critically acclaimed AMERICAN NINJA COLLECTION, 88 Films is thrilled to present another box set of bloody brilliant thrills: CHILDREN OF THE CORN.

Released in 1984, and adapted from a popular Stephen King short story, the original CHILDREN OF THE CORN became one of the most successful of the legendary author's page-to-screen adaptations. The hit horror sickie headlines a pre-TERMINATOR Linda Hamilton and Peter Horton (TV's THIRTYSOMETHING) as a travelling couple who unwittingly become trapped in the fictional town of Gatlin, Nebraska, and find themselves stalked by a creepy clan of young cultists. No adult is allowed to survive in Gatlin or else, their prophecy predicts, the harvest will collapse. Suffice to say, all hell soon breaks loose (literally) and demonic entities ensure that Hamilton and her husband are in for a long night... Co-starring popular genre face Courtney Gains (THE 'BURBS) and given a malevolent mid-western touch by director Fritz Kiersch (TUFF TURF), CHILDREN OF THE CORN remains one of the most spine-tingling terror titles of the 1980s.

Unsurprisingly, this blockbuster bout of bloodshed led to a franchise of fan favourite sequels - although it would take until 1993 for CHILDREN OF THE CORN II: THE FINAL SACRIFICE to rear its rural shocks. Once again set in Nebraska, this frightful follow-up has some members of a nearby town choosing to adopt the surviving adolescents from the previous pot-boiler. Unfortunately for them, a demonic entity out in the cornfields is planning to possess the supposedly sane school-kids so that a new crimson-caked celebration can begin. Featuring some malicious set pieces, and a script co-written by Gilbert Adler (producer of SUPERMAN RETURNS and VALKYRIE), CHILDREN OF THE CORN II: THE FINAL SACRIFICE carves up a thrilling entry into the winning franchise formula.

Also re-mastered in HD for this very special set is CHILDREN OF THE CORN III: URBAN HARVEST (1995), the concluding episode in the series to see the light of a cinema screen. Perhaps the most potent of all the CHILDREN OF THE CORN sequels, this third instalment gave an early role to future Oscar winner Charlize Theron (MONSTER/ MAD MAX: FURY ROAD). With Nebraska cowering in fear at the thought of another child-led slice and dice revolution, two youngsters are adopted and taken to Chicago - where, it would seem, they are safe from any satanic influences! Alas, the opposite is true, and even big city life is revealed to be irrelevant to our clan of pint-sized psychopaths. Another winner, with a slow-burning sense of suspense and plenty of gory thrills and spills, CHILDREN OF THE CORN III: URBAN HARVEST is a spook-fest that more than deserves its BluRay reappraisal.

Accompanying this delicious package will also be a new full length documentary feature, THE LIFE, LEGACY AND LEGEND OF DON BORCHERS. As the title suggests this labour of love undertaking focuses on the charismatic and frequently unrecognised genius producer behind CHILDREN THE CORN as well as such B-movie classics as BEASTMASTER (1982), ANGEL (1984), CRIMES OF PASSION (1984), VAMP (1986), TWO MOON JUNCTION (1989), DESIRE AND HELL AT SUNSET MOTEL (1991), DOPPLEGANGER (1993), THE DEMOLITIONIST (1995) and many more. Developed and produced by Calum Waddell and Naomi Holwill of High Rising Productions, and directed by Jim Kunz, this feature production is sure to appease anyone curious about the challenges of creating quality low budget genre cinema.

Scheduled for release on November 23rd, with an RRP of £34.99, on both BluRay and DVD, the CHILDREN OF THE CORN collector's edition set, which will also come with a franchise-spanning booklet from author Calum Waddell, is sure to have horror film fans screaming with anticipation!

***UPDATE***

88 Films has posted an update about their feature length documentary they'll be including with CHILDREN OF THE CORN.

THE LIFE, LEGEND AND LEGACY OF DONALD P, BORCHERS is a look at one of Hollywood's most unfairly unrecognised B-movie mavericks. For over three decades, Donald P. Borchers has been front and centre of indie filmmaking, overseeing the development and production of such cult classics as ANGEL, BEASTMASTER, CHILDREN OF THE CORN, CRIMES OF PASSION, VAMP, TWO MOON JUNCTION, DESIRE AND HELL AT SUNSET MOTEL, DOPPLEGANGER and many, many, many more.

This is the story of a life spent sacrificing it all to give audiences the thrill of genre sexiness and big screen shocks - on a budget! Featuring extensive interview time from Borchers himself, and contributions from colleagues such as actor Corey Feldman (MEATBALLS 4), director Richard Wenk (VAMP), Concrete Blonde singer Johnette Napolitano, composer Jonathan Elisa (CHILDREN OF THE CORN), effects artist Kevin Kutchaver, stuntwoman Kathy Long and many more this is the perfect accompanyment to a very special 88 Films release!

*** 88 Films has also mentioned that the first film will be available for purchase as a stand alone release.

Immoral Tales - (US) Blu-ray Review - Arrow Video

Walerian Borowczyk's first erotic feature, Immoral Tales presents a veritable cavalcade of depravity: cosmic fellatio, transcendental masturbation, erotic fairy tale, blood-drenched lesbianism and papal incest.

Immoral Tales - (US) Blu-ray Review - Arrow Video

Released by: Arrow Video
Release Date: September 15, 2015
Production Year: 1974
Region Code: A
Running Time: 1:43:08 Theatrical / 2:05:25 Original
Audio: French LPCM 2.0 Mono
Video: 1080p (1.66:1 Aspect Ratio)
Subtitles: English

THE FILM:

"Immoral Tales" is a French anthology that tells four or five (depending on which version you watch) stories, each delving further back in time, as if to suggest that the same issues recur constantly throughout human civilization, whether involving notorious historical figures like Lucrezia Borgia and Erzsébet Báthory, or present-day teenagers. Capitalizing on the relaxation of censorship laws, "Immoral Tales" would transform Walerian Borowczyk's image from brilliant but obscure avant-garde artist to one of Europe's most confrontational filmmakers when it came to trampling on sexual taboos.

The Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack contains two versions of the film. In the theatrical cut there are four stories, "The Tide," "Thérése Philosophe," "Erzsebet Bathory," and "Lucrezia Borgia." In the original five-part conception also known as "The L'age d'or cut," the short film "La Bête" AKA "The True Story of the Beast of Gévaudan," that was later expanded into Borowczyk’s feature length film "The Beast," is also included.

Immoral Tales - (US) Blu-ray Review - Arrow Video

The Tide - This story involves 20 year old André (Fabrice Luchini) and his 16 year old cousin Julie (Lise Danvers). André demonstrates his control over Julie by continually giving her orders. He takes her to a secluded beach where he plans to make use of his lurid intentions. The sound of waves crashing is put to good use in this film as it coincides with the actions of the young couple. The cinematography is terrific with the countryside and ocean, both looking gorgeous.

Therese Philosophe - This tale is about young Therese (Charlotte Alexandra) who has been unjustly punished. She is to spend three days and three nights locked in her bedroom. But instead of contemplating her punishment, Therese's mind strays and she begins to have sexual fantasies involving objects in her bedroom. She eventually loses control and gives in to temptation. Unfortunately she later crosses paths with a vagrant who cannot control his urges when he sees Therese.

La Bête - This is the story of The Beast of Gévaudan, that is spreading fear in the Massif Central region of France. A young woman (Sirpa Lane) ventures in to the woods after her lamb and encounters the ferocious beast. After running through the never ending woods trying to escape the monster, the beast eventually catches up to its prey. However, the beast does not kill her. Instead, it proceeds to rape her. The story does not end as one might expect.

Erzsebet Bathory - Here we have a story about Countess Elisabeth Bathory (Paloma Picasso). The countess, along with her squire Istvan (Pascale Christophe) and a soldier, visit the villages and settlements of Nyitra County, Hungary. There, young virgin girls are rounded up, to be taken home with the countess. Once they arrive, the girls bathe one another and are left nude. Countess Bathory concocts a drink and serves it to the girls. What follows next is a mass of wild girls first pawing at the countess and then at one another with an eruption of violence and ultimately, betrayal.

Lucrezia Borgia - In this final tale of depravity, Lucrezia (Florence Bellamy) and her husband Giovanni Sforza travel to visit Lucrezia's father, Pope Alexander VI (Jacopo Berinizi) and her brother, Cesare (Lorenzo Berinizi). You will quickly learn that there is no love lost between Lucrezia's father and her husband. Following a nefarious deed, we see that Lucrezia, her father and brother, share a bit too much love for one another in the form of a ménage à trois. In the final scene of the film we see a baby, a product of incest, being baptized.

Immoral Tales - (US) Blu-ray Review - Arrow Video

AUDIO:

This Blu-ray comes with one audio option, a French LPCM 2.0 Mono track. I thought the track was excellent. Whether it is the sounds of crashing waves, erotic moans or the accompanying score, the audio track does a wonderful job. Throughout the entire film, the balance of dialogue, score and sound effects remained very stable. I did not encounter any negative issues with the audio. Optional English subtitles are also included.

VIDEO:

"Immoral Tales" comes to Blu-ray courtesy of a new high definition transfer thanks to Arrow Video. The film is presented in 1080p with a 1.66 Aspect Ratio. Some stories may look better than others, but the film looks outstanding. I thought the colors were rich and natural looking. Blood certainly has a crimson appearance. Skin tones look very natural from Julie's pink lips in "The Tide" to the milky white skin of the abducted girls in "Erzsebet Bathory." The amount of fine detail present in some of the close ups is amazing for a film over 40 years old. Black levels look fine as well. The grain looks great throughout the film. I did not notice any problems whatsoever with the video quality.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

Introduction by Borowczyk expert Daniel Bird (5:14)

Love Reveals Itself (16:42) - Production manager Doninique Duvergé-Ségrétin and camera operator Noël Véry discus the the films production. Noël Véry talks about using a special camera mount for Boroczyk's films and even gives a demonstration. The pair talk about the casting for the film, including the fact that Isabelle Adjani was approached for the role of Julie in "The Tide," but she declined. There are some interesting details offered in this featurette. I was surprised to learn that the blood used in a certain scene, was real pigs blood. More surprising is that after the scene was shot, the blood was used to make black pudding. (In French with English subtitles)

Obscure Pleasures: A Portrait of Walerian Boroczyk (1:03:15) -  This is a newly edited archival interview with Walerian Boroczyk that was filmed for the UK's Channel Four "Visions" documentary strand in 1985, but never aired. Mr. Boroczyk discusses his interest and foray in to the field of animation. Periodically, snippets of animation are played during the interview. The conversation next shifts to sex in cinema during which, clips from various films are displayed. Walerian Boroczyk also talks about his interest in painting and makes a comparison to film-making. Fans of Boroczyk will most likely find this interview more interesting than I did, simply because other than this film, I am not very familiar with his work. He was very open and honest in this interview which anyone can appreciate. (In French with English subtitles)

Blow-Ups (4:43)  - Viewers are given a glimpse at some of Walerian Boroczyk's art, including his prize-winning lithographs and poster designs.

Trailer (2:18)

Reversible sleeve featuring Borowczyk's own original poster design

Illustrated booklet containing new writing on the film by Daniel Bird and an archive piece by Phillip Strick

IN CONCLUSION:

The subject matter of "Immoral Tales from Arrow Video may not appeal to everyone, but this Blu-ray looks and sounds fantastic.  There are a number of good extras included as well. This release also contains a DVD for added value. Fans of Walerian Boroczyk or those interested in exploitation films should consider purchasing the film. Arrow Video has done a fine job and fans should be extremely pleased with this release.

Elfie Hopkins - Blu-ray Review - Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment

Who are the neighbours having for dinner?

Elfie Hopkins - Blu-ray Review - Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment

Released by: Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment
Release Date: August 13, 2012
Production Year: 2012
Region Code: B
Running Time: 1:29:13
Audio: English DTS-HD MA 5.1 / English LPCM 2.0 Stereo
Video: 1080p (2.35:1 Aspect Ratio)
Subtitles: None

THE FILM:

Jaime Winstone (Made in Dagenham, Kidulthood) is Elfie Hopkins - an animal-loving slacker, stoner, and wannabe detective, living in a sleepy hunting village. Haunted by the death of her mother, Elfie seeks solace from the old school detectives in The Maltese Falcon and Chinatown. She entertains herself by investigating the villagers and upsetting everyone with her imaginative allegations.

Things get serious however with the arrival of trendy city dwellers, the Gammons, who weave seductive tales of adventure and entice the villagers with offers of exotic hunting holidays around the world. Elfie smells a rat - her mundane existence is about to be blown apart.

Blood quickly starts to spill, and it’s no longer just the blood of animals. Elfie discovers the villagers are disappearing and when she finally uncovers the truth, it’s darker than she could ever have imagined…

Also starring Aneurin Barnard (We’ll Take Manhattan), Rupert Evans (Hellboy), Steven Mackintosh (Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels) and British acting legend Ray Winstone (Sexy Beast, Snow White & the Huntsman). The film was directed by Ryan Andrews.

I found this film oddly... appealing. Jaime Winstone as Elfie was at times, intriguing at at times, verging on annoying. But I did like the character. My favorite character though would easily be Ruby with her seemingly child like innocence. A quirky and likable film.. to me.

Elfie Hopkins - Blu-ray Review - Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment

AUDIO:

This Blu-ray comes with two English tracks, DTS-HS Master Audio 5.1 and LPCM 2.0 Stereo. The audio sounded above average, overall. I never had trouble hearing or understanding the dialogue. The tracks did a fine job as far as sound levels go in regard to balancing the dialogue, sound effects and score.

VIDEO:

"Elfie Hopkins" chomps its way on to Blu-ray thanks to Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment. The film is presented in 1080p with a 2.35:1 Aspect Ratio. The quality of the video varies, often. Indoor scenes with artificial lighting, look the worst. In those scenes, the contrast seems too strong with whites appearing blown out and black levels dissolving into a large mass of whatever it is that contains black, with definition going out the window. The visible light sources indoors have a bit of a glow about them. The darker indoor scenes don't look nearly as bad and look more like what you might expect. The best looking scenes are those that are outdoors or using natural light where the camera can actually pick up on details in clothing, facial features and inanimate objects. In those scenes there is actually a fair amount of fine detail present. Colors overall looked fine to me. The film has an overall drab look to it but I thought it just helped set the mood, which was mostly cold. It is a shame that the video quality is so uneven. I can only venture a guess that it has something to do with the way the movie was filmed.

Elfie Hopkins - Blu-ray Review - Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment

SPECIAL FEATURES:

Deleted Scenes (2:33) - One scene involves Elfie speaking with the Butcher. The scene kind of helps set up a scene that appears later in the film, so it might have been better to leave it in. The second scene features Elfie talking to Michael at the police station where he proclaims his innocence.

Making Of (10:38) - This featurette includes several members of the cast briefly discussing their roles in the film.

Short Film: "Little Munchkin" (10:05) This short film was directed by Ryan Andrews and takes place during the Christmas season. It involves a couple going to an orphanage to look for a "unique" child. They find just that in little darling Margaret and promptly take her home. The couple go out one night and leave Margaret with a babysitter. When they return home, they learn that they have gotten more than they bargained for with Margaret.

IN CONCLUSION:

While not a very popular film, I enjoy it. I just wish the film looked better. Below average video quality, above average audio quality and poor special features. Although I will say the short film, which features Gwyneth Keyworth, who played Ruby in "Elfie Hopkins," was a fun little extra. I would suggest renting or borrowing the film from a friend to check it out first before buying. But, the Blu-ray can be purchased fairly cheaply if you would like to buy it. That was a key selling point for me.

Scooby-Doo and the Gang Return to the Big Screen in New Warner Bros. Pictures Animated Feature

Fire up the Mystery Machine! Scooby-Doo and his crime-busting pals will soon embark on a brand new comedy adventure, as Warner Bros. Pictures prepares to bring the beloved Hanna-Barbera franchise back to theaters on September 21, 2018. The announcement was made jointly today by Greg Silverman, President of Creative Development and Worldwide Production, Dan Fellman, President of Domestic Distribution, Sue Kroll, President of Worldwide Marketing and Distribution, and Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, President of Worldwide Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.

Scooby-Doo and the Gang Return to the Big Screen in New Warner Bros. Pictures Animated Feature

The film reunites Oscar-nominated producers Charles Roven and Richard Suckle (“American Hustle”), who previously produced the Studio’s hugely successful live-action features “Scooby-Doo” and “Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.” Joining them is BAFTA Award-winning producer Allison Abbate (“The Iron Giant”), who produced the Oscar-nominated features “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” “Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride” and “Frankenweenie.”

It will be directed by multiple Emmy Award nominee Tony Cervone (“Space Jam,” Cartoon Network’s “The Looney Tunes Show” and “Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated”). Renowned animation visionary Dan Povenmire (“Phineas and Ferb,” “Family Guy”) will also bring his creative sensibilities to the production as an executive producer. The screenplay is by Matt Lieberman (“Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief”).

The new Scooby-Doo feature will be a Warner Bros. Pictures presentation under the Warner Animation Group (WAG) banner.

In making the announcement, Silverman acknowledged, “Like countless fans, I have always loved the Hanna-Barbera cast of characters. As one of their most famous brand ambassadors, Scooby-Doo will take the lead in re-introducing this pantheon of enduringly popular animated stars on a grand scale with an exciting new movie.”

Said Fellman, “It’s always a treat to see Scooby-Doo on the big screen and to share his larger-than-life adventures with audiences. As anticipation grows throughout production, the movie’s mid-September release date should start the fall season with a burst of fun.”

Added Kroll, “It’s wonderful to be working with this talented and inspired team of filmmakers. We couldn’t ask for better producers than Charles Roven, Richard Suckle and Allison Abbate, who have such affection and respect for this property and know the Hanna-Barbera universe so well.”

Kwan Vandenberg further stated, “Scooby-Doo and his friends have the kind of universal appeal that reaches across cultures as well as generations. We expect this new take on the franchise to generate even more fans around the world.”

Graduation Day - Blu-ray Review - Vinegar Syndrome

There are 200 seniors at Midvale High. And seven days 'til Graduation.
The class of '81 is running out of time.

Graduation Day - Blu-ray Review - Vinegar Syndrome

Released by: Vinegar Syndrome
Release Date: September 9, 2014
Production Year: 1981
Region Code: ALL
Running Time: 1:36:42
Audio: English DTS-HD MA Mono
Video: 1080p (1.78:1 Aspect Ratio)

THE FILM:

After the death of a high school track star during a race, a mysterious, fencing-mask wearing killer begins murdering her friends and teachers. Who could the killer be? Her disgruntled coach? Her angry sister? Her violent boyfriend? As the bodies pile up, a twisted mystery unfolds, slowly revealing itself as it moves towards its bloody climax.

Another slasher from the great 80's. This film, as the name states, takes place close graduation day for Midvale High. It was common at the time for films to try and capitalize on holidays or events and this movie is no different. This film does feature Scream Queen Linnea Quigley in a small role as well as Vanna White before she became famous for being on the game show, "Wheel of Fortune." Plus you can't forget the great Christopher George.

"Graduation Day" makes good use of red herrings and does a good job at keeping you guessing as to the identity of the killer. It is somewhere around the middle of the road in regards to the amount of blood and gore appearing in the film. It does have some interesting death scenes, including one involving a "special" football.

Graduation Day - Blu-ray Review - Vinegar Syndrome

AUDIO:

This Blu-ray comes with an English DTS-HD Master Audio Mono track. It does a fairly good job of reproducing the sound of the film. Sometimes the dialogue sounds a little tinny or has a little hissing to it. But it is not abundant and does not distract you from what is happening in the film. I thought the balance between the dialogue, sound effects and the score by Arthur Kempel, was handled well.

VIDEO:

"Graduation Day" graduates, pun intended, to high definition thanks to a new 4k restoration from the Editor's 35mm Answer Print, by Vinegar Syndrome. The film is presented in 1080p with a 1.78:1 Aspect Ratio. Who would have ever imagined that "Graduation Day" would receive a 4k restoration? Thank you Vinegar Syndrome. The video quality looks excellent and easily the best it has ever looked. The colors look lively and rich. The black levels are adequate. Skin tones look natural and have a nice hue to them. The grain level looks very good throughout the film. It is a bit heavier in certain scenes, but that is to be expected. There is an inherent softness to the film but there is still a fair amount of fine detail present. There are some white specks and other light damage present in the film but I never found it to be a major detriment to the viewing experience.

Mr. Baughn shares an amusing story regarding the trailer for the film as well as a few bits of trivia.

Audio Commentary #2 - This track features members of the podcast, The Hysteria Continues. The group does a good job at being entertaining throughout the commentary sometimes poking fun at what is happening in the movie and also providing some pertinent information.

IN CONCLUSION:

Vinegar Syndrome has released a great looking Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack that includes some nice extras. If you are a fan of this film or a slasher fan in general, this is one Blu-ray that you should buy. It may not be one of the best slashers out there, but it's still an entertaining one and not a bad way to spend 96 minutes.
